Value to the VOTER.

We are really lucky to have party like Loksatta, because this is the only party in Andhra Pradesh, not distributed Money and Liquor.

Traditional parties in Andhra Pradesh spent on average of 500/- for each vote and maximum of 2000/- in some places. These figures are reflecting how these traditional parties are having thirsty to get power. Once think how these parties got this much amount of money. This is what the black money is. Each one of us know that these parties spent crores of money. Each one of us know this is the money we paid to government as a tax. Each one of us know these traditional parties are giving bribe for vote.

If they gave bribe today, then definitely they will take bribe tomorrow.

The only party LokSatta in Andhra Pradesh, gave value to the Voter.

Why Should I VOTE ?

I have taken this opportunity again to produce this article in view of near by Elections. I request your patience reading for the following important article. Have you ever cast your vote. At least did your name get enrolled in Voters list? The following are the summary of a survey conducted on the above facts and related to them.
  • Nearly 60 - 70% of the educated Indians are not utilizing their vote.
  • Persons especially Educated Youth, college students ,professionals, soft ware guys/gals ,PSU/corporate officials are not at all interested in casting their votes.
  • Only Upper Class and Lower Class people are casting their votes. The lower class people attracted towards liquor/money other free offers given by politicians and use their vote irregularly. ( One should realize that such free offers will convert citizens into beggars). Where as are upper class people generally business magnets, industrialists maintain relation ship with politicians for their benefits and cast accordingly. Then what about middle class people …generally salaried people ,small scale business people doesn’t bother about all these things and blame government when ever they felt impact of the politician acts comes to their level. But they doesn’t think who are responsible for election of such politicians.
  • It is understood nearly Millions of Crores Rupees are mugging in some corrupted politician’s hands .
  • The Corrupted amount of politicians in cash with Swiss bank is TEN times more than Indian budget.
  • Some politicians & their families are even richer than Bill Gates, Warren Buffet.
  • What will happen to India, if we are able to release that huge amount?
  • Entire India can be feed seven years with that amount. India will become richest nation in the World.
  • How about a Corruption free India at least for a period of Five Years. Definitely we will be on par with Richest Countries. Inflation level will become ZERO or 1 Rupee = 10 us $. Or better than this. Difficult to dream it ?
  • In India for every One Rupee spent on developmental activities hardly 05 paisa will be utilized for the purpose, remaining else is adjusted at various stages. (A comment from Supreme Court , two years back). But It is much lower at present
  • In India so many IAS/IPS officers, famous public stars, actors /actress etc., are brought to justice for their illegal actions by some means. Have you ever noticed the same with any politician and his family members? May be Law has so many relaxations for them.
  • Who are responsible for this? Some of our corrupted/criminal Leaders whom we are electing by with out casting our Vote.
  • Most of our politicians are criminals and are brought up in heredity .These family politicians doesn’t make any good to the country except raising their assets.
  • We are doing a very big mistake by not casting our vote. We all know the importance of vote, we will regularly discuss about various politicians and their pros and cons, but we will simply miss the occasion in time though it is very simple.
  • We will take utmost care about our career, life partners, children’s education & their future etc., but we will not all bother about the leaders who will rule these factors at various levels.
  • Do you feel INDIA is really developing? Not at all.. Only politician’s assets are developing. That’s why INDIA is rich but Indians are poor.
  • Can u expect person like Obama will be elected in India. No, Not at all Because our politics are fraught up with Family politicians. Its heredity
  • Even the great Mahatma Gandhi also cannot win in elections in front of these corrupted political leaders.
  • United States is the only country in world, which will encourage their citizens to participate in free Voting more frequently.
  • Voting is compulsory in countries like Australia, Singapore, Switzerland , Peru, Greece, Cyprus. Defaulters will be penalized with fines, imprisonment, salary cut cancellation of licenses etc. I think this system should also be implemented in our country.
  • Voting can make a tremendous difference, too, in state, regional, and local elections. Many local authorities have the power to levy taxes and to implement new laws. Though things in large scale cannot be changed immediately, but definitely there will be an initiation for that at some point.
  • It is our responsibility to bring such a change. Motivate your parents, staff, friends, colleagues ,nearer and dearer to participate in healthy voting.
  • I feel one such a good party in AP that will definitely bring change is Jaya Praksh narayan’s ( Ex IAS) LOK SATTA Party . He is very intelligent, and completely against corruption and has very effective methods of development. Definitely he will do good to the country/state. Choose such type of persons/party in your region irrespective of the party and elect them. Explore your self and justify the above facts.
  • Recently MTech IIT (Mumbai) student has started a party named Bharat Punarnirman Dal party. The members are Alumni of IIT . The only reason is same as above. We should encourage such parties. A best movie in this regard is Maniratnam’s YUVA.( Telugu/Hindi) Ayitha Ezhuthu(Tamil). The prime objective of the movie was to motivate educated Indian youths to enter politics/participate in Healthy Voting.
  • I request you all to participate in Healthy voting regularly in near by and future Elections without fail. This message (if felt good) should be passed to each and every voter. Any discrepancies in the above may please not be viewed seriously as the same are not intended for any one ; Our intention is a well Developed & Corruption free INDIA.
  • I request this message should be passed to each and every one for a good cause.

Thanks to One and All for patience reading as I have consumed your valuable time. Good Day

Is Lok Satta had only one Leader?

Lok satta has hundred's of Leader's. Here I want to introduce some of the leaders of Lok satta.

Mrs Manorama, Lok Satta Vice President,
Nominated as MP from Narasapuram.
Please view here speech. She is really inspiration to many people, If we ignore the truth what she said, then no use. She is the best mahila leader in Andhra Pradesh. She is highly respectable and her thoughts are really younger than youth, she is not at all comparable with crooks like Roja, Ganga Bhavani, Shoba Rani. We need leader like Mrs Manorama.

Sri Katari Srinivasa Rao, Serilingampally Constituency Candidate,
He is an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at Chaitanya Bharati Institute of Technology (CBIT) and has remained a perennial students’ favourite among the faculty. Over the past decade he emerged as Andhra Pradesh’s leading opinion-maker and civil society activist on several critical public issues, especially on traffic-and-public transportation and municipal administration. http://loksattaserilingampally.com/

Mrs Gita Murthy, Spokeswomen of Lok Satta,
What she told is the real fact about Media.

Mrs G. Prathibha Rao, Jubilee Hills Loksatta MLA Candidate.
She is the founder of renowned LV Prasad Eye Hospital. She has served poor people through her hospital for years and has participated in various activities of Loksatta party.

I listed only some of the leaders, but are they not real leaders? then why our media will not highlight them? why only glamor, rowdies, fractionists, and crooks... ?

Samanyudi gunde goshaku gonthuku nivvadame loksatta chesthunnadhi

“A vote to traditional parties which have become the dens for goondas, land grabbers and political business entrepreneurs would be a wasted vote and not if the vote is cast to a party committed to implementing a well-laid out program for people’s empowerment and development. “The Lok Satta Party is lending its voice to the voiceless majority and giving expression to the feelings of all citizens. A vote for the Lok Satta gains value and gives the voter dignity and self-respect. Traditional parties are fighting like wolves to grab power. The innocent voter lambs should focus their attention on ending the wolves’ raj and not on choosing one among the wolves. A bright future is just a vote away.”

Dr. JP. Referring to comments from certain sections that the Lok Satta is in a hurry to change the nature of politics when the society is not prepared, Dr. JP said such an attitude amounted to criminal negligence of people’s problems. “The delay in changing the nature of politics even by a day will harm more and more people. Go and tell the mothers that are concerned about their children’s future to wait for another decade before they are provided good education, health care, job skills and employment.”

Dr. JP disclosed that the Lok Satta Party has so far spent only Rs.1.5 crore on campaign over television channels. The party is spending its meager resources on legitimate campaigning and not on luring voters with liquor and money. “For every Rs.1000 crore (black money) traditional parties spend, we spend only Rs. one crore (white money - you can get details of each and every rupee)".

ARMY of Lok Satta.

A very big Young Army in Lok satta working day and night with out expecting even money, just they only want to see change in present political system. Here I am listing some of the members of Lok satta.

Prasanna from America, working in Google, USA. Then what he is doing in Lok satta, Hyderabad branch? He want to change present system. He took 2 months of leave and working in Lok satta party office to make Lok satta content like movies, news articles, images more search able in Internet.

Abdul Aziz, Software engineer. He is inspired by the sentence "Sama Samajanni Sthapisthamu" by JP Narayana and joined in Lok satta and when ever he gets time he will spend it for Lok satta.

Devi Prasadh, he learnt Web designing, but he is a volunteer for Lok satta since 2 years. He is inspired by the sentence "ఇక మీదట ఈ దేశం లో వున్నా వాడికి ఒక న్యాయం లేని వాడికి ఒక న్యాయం వుండడానికి వీల్లేదు" by JP Narayana (Ika meedhta ee dhesham lo vunna vadiki oka nyayam leni vadiki oka nyayam vundadaniki velledhu.)

Ramesh, studying MBA. Works for Lok satta in his free time. He wants to change present education system.

But I am really sorry that I listed only some people, but there is very big ARMY working for Lok satta. I really inspired by these people and JP Narayana. Aren't they working for INDIA? Aren't they are Hero's? Then why our media not highlighting them?

Media wants to show only

  • Glamour.
  • Rowdies.
  • Fractionists.
  • Leaders who bring people in Trucks to meetings.
  • Who distribute Liquor and Money.
  • Who even don't know meaning of Democracy.

This is what Media want to show, but not the real Leaders. If we are lucky, we will can get change to see less than 1 minute clip at the end of news reel.

I have watched many of Lok satta members they want change in politics. I request youth to join Lok satta, you will definitely enjoy to work in real party. By watching movies like Oke okkadu, Bharatheeyudu, Aparichithudu.. is not enough. Now you have got chance to become HERO by joining Lok satta. EVERY ONE CAN BECOME HERO.

Please see full coverage in these videos;

Swaharajyam lo MLA rajyam

Each vote counts

Please take some time to look at my message honoring Lok Satta. At some point, we have dreamt of somebody comes and changes our political system, uproot corruption in the society, utilize available resources properly and take the country forward.

We have seen many leaders but all are the branches of the same tree. There are new parties introduced recently but look at the candidates in the party. Most of them are from the other parties and many of them are jumping Jacks. They still are carrying the same attitude and commitment.

Having experienced the difficulties in offices like RTO, MRO, Register Office, Revenue, Gas agencies, Electricity office, Traffic Police, tampering in Petrol bunks, Auto meters etc, I am sure you would have cursed our fate for being led by this kind of leaders.

I am sure that you have envisaged of Some One coming and changing our system/administration/rules/leaders.

Why do our villagers need freebies, Kg Rice @ Rs.2 and free current? Why doesn’t the Government help them in buying that stuff? If the Government facilitates education to one member of a family, he/she can take care of his/her family. Instead of concentrating on such long-term developments, our lazy leaders are making people lazy by offering things for free. All I request you to do is that, Think before whom you vote. He may be of your religion/caste, he may be your favorite hero, or your favorite hero’s brother … just ignore. Choose a person who can take our state/county ahead.

Compare the leaders who have hired helicopters in canvassing with JP who is taking help of our Trains.Compare qualification and conduct of the nominated candidates of other parties with decent, middle-class and well-qualified one’s of Lok Satta. Compare the media coverage of party’s movements. 24/7 coverage for silly decisions, stupid statements, rude actions of other parties, but in the same news paper Loksatta with a 2X3 inch section published somewhere in the corner of last pages of the News paper.

So, Wakeup! Hurry! If not media, we take the responsibility of spreading his message. Let’s show the power of IT network. One man has courageously stood up in reframing our Society. As individual, most of us can not even dare to think that. At least, we stand at him. We help him and be a part of this revolution. Let’s keep his hopes live. If we don’t do this, his spirits may plunge which is not a good sign. The Silence of good men is more dangerous than the brutality of Bad men - Martin Luther King. We are aware of the saying “Each vote counts”. When one vote can change the results of a poll, why can’t the same one vote helps Lok Satta win? So, chuck away the thought “How can only my vote helps LS win? Anyhow LS is not going to win”. Who knows! We don’t need to do rallies, we don’t need to canvass, and we may not need to fund them. Just convince yourself, your friends and your family in voting for Lok Satta and be a part of this moment.

I decided to convince at least 1000 people in supporting Lok Satta. Can you convince at least 10 provided you are convinced? Please remember to look at JP’s profile on the website. Finally, please don’t ignore this article if u don’t have vote in AP. Instead u can forward it to your friends who can vote for AP and change its fortune.

Support Lok Satta for Good Governance...

What's happening to my Tax money? Why should I vote for LokSatta?

Government is elected by the people and government should work for the people, for that it requires income. Then how will it get income? It gets income by collecting tax from the people. Now job of the government is to spend this amount for the people.

In which form government will get income?
  • Match box: 50 Paisa, government will get 10 paisa as tax (20%)
  • Tooth paste: 35 Rupees, government will get 7 rupees as tax (20%)
  • Soap: 10 Rupees, government will get 2 rupees as tax (20%)
  • Sweet oil: 60 Rupees, government will get 12 rupees as tax (20%)
  • Movies, Theme parks: 100 Rupees, government will get 70 rupees as entertainment tax (70%)
  • Like this we are paying tax on each and every product, tax on our work, and also tax on natural resources.

How much of this amount is spending for the people?

  • By tax collection government is getting 50 lakh crores of amounts. Please remember that this amount is for the people.
  • The aim of the government is to spend this 50 lakh crores of amount for the people, but even though government needs 3.6 lakh crores more because according to records, government is spending 53.6 lakh crores, means 3.6 lakh crores more than its income.
  • If government is spending 53.6 lakh crores of amount then on each Indian citizen government should spend 10,000 rupees per annum, means for a family of 5 members government should spend 50,000 rupees per annum, means 2,50,000 rupees for 5 years, means 4000 rupees per month for 5 member family. If this is the truth then there should not be a problem with drinking water, good food for all people, good quality of education, well and advanced equipped hospitals, 24 hours of current, clean and green roads, good drainage system, please think is this is the present situation? The present situation is no water supply, not even proper cloths, old government schools, no proper roads, no proper drainage system, why like this? What is the reason behind this?
  • We as a Indians need to know reason behind this. Where is remaining amount?
  • Around 75 lakh crores is the total bank balance amount of Indian politicians and there related people in Swiss bank alone. Then please think how much amount it could be in other banks and in other countries.
  • Till how many years we need to bare them? If it continues like this, India will be at the stage of developing country only. It will not and never become developed country.
  • Then what we can do? We can decide our destiny in 2009 elections using our VOTE.
  • To whom we need to vote? In present situation we can divide our political parties into two categories, Team A and Team B.
  • Team A is Main Stream Parties who are spending crores of rupees to buy votes, distribute liquor, rig elections, promise short term sops with out any furture vision, and fighting elections by dividing society.
  • Team B is LOK SATTA, A party who is fighting elections with out; buying votes, distributing liquor, rigging elections. And bringing fundamental changes by; democratically electing candidates, doing politics with out involving caste, promising 50 guarantees to create equal opportunities to all irrespective of there birth.
  • To which team we need to vote for? Whether the parties fighting for power or LOK SATTA, a party which is establishing a new political culture and placing a citizen in the centre of governance.
  • Also go through this .ppt . Please decide whom you want. Whether the same type of parties once again (they only want power and for that they will buy vote with liquor and money) or new young LOK SATTA party? (This will provide you 50 guarantees)
  • Please go through this video for full details:

  • If not now then when .... if not us then who else.....

Your vote costs 230000/-

Yes this is truth...
  • 1 lakh crore, is the total budget amount of Andhra Pradesh.
  • 300 crore, is the daily expenditure out of our budget amount.
  • 230000/- is the cost of your vote in 2009 elections.
  • Please remember you are placing 230000/- of amount in the hands of government using your vote.
  • Then please think twice or thrice before you vote because your vote costs 230000/-
  • Do you want the same traditional parties? They want only power. They can do any thing for it, they will distribute liquor and money
  • Or LOK SATTA? Lok satta wants to change present system but not the power. Power is one of the option to change present system but not the only option.
  • Please dont think "its waste to vote for loksatta as it is not in a position to win".
  • Please question your self మనము వోట్ వేస్తే వాళ్ళు గెలుస్తారా ? లేకుంటే వాళ్ళు గెలుస్తారని మనము వోట్ వేస్తమ ? (Will they win if we vote ? or will we vote them because they are going to win ? )
  • Its WE... WE... WE... are voting not others.. We should decide our destiny. Please dont think like "Loksatta is not in a position to win, If I vote for it then might be my vote becomes waste"
  • Your Vote will not become waste... It increases the count... It decides the fate of the people...
  • If your party not wins then its not like you lost Cricket game, its not like you lost dignity, its not a shame, You have given your opinion. According to me, this is how the people thinking about Lok satta 'might be it will not win...' but on the day when people changes there thought then definetly Lok satta wins...
  • I want to say that 'YOUR VOTE COUNTS'.
  • Cost of your vote is 230000/-

Please think once again.

రాజు గారికి బట్టలు లేవు..

Each of us know current situation of political parties. People fed up with them. Just remember the last assembly sessions, a conversation between YS and N chandhra babu, MLA's and MP's are just for earning money. Leaders just want tickets and for that ticket they can spend crores of money, distribute liquor and money to buy votes.

Politics became a new opportunity to earn money, but what a developing country like INDIA requires? INDIA requires:

  • Free Education System
  • Free Health Care
  • Employment

But which parties manifesto will provides these policies? What will be the change with Color TV, on poor people? Each of us know present situation of politics. Each of us know that Raju gariki (traditional political parties) battalu levu.. But no is daring to say this.

Only LOKSATTA dared to say రాజు గారికి బట్టలు లేవు.

Do you know?

INDIA is the country in the world with highest black money in swiss banks that is - 75 lakh crores..

This is 14 times the INDIAN annual budget...

If this money is distributed in INDIA - every poor citizen will get 1 lakh..

Waiting for a Change? then only option is LOKSATTA....

MLA ticket for 25 rupees...

Believe me that MLA ticket from Loksatta is 25 rupees only.

On 29th March 2009 at KPHB Loksatta professional party meet, when I first time attended a political party meeting. I observed the intention of the people; they want change in present political ground.

JP pointed out the challenges facing by Loksatta in Andhra Pradesh. He told that for some of the assembly constituencies still no one are coming forward to nominate from Loksatta, because

  • Loksatta is against distribution of money and liquor (recently one of the members of loksatta cancelled his nomination because JP denied him to distribute money and liquor)
  • People know Loksatta is good party, but thinks its waste to vote for loksatta as it is not in a position to win. Good peoples silence is more dangerous than bad people's deeds. JP wants to create belief in people that lok satta is the right alternative and vote for it with confidence

I really felt sad about the present thinking of the people " its waste to vote for loksatta as it is not in a position to win " I strongly agree with JP that when ever people think they want right alternative and vote confidently then loksatta will really win, might be it take 1 month (2009 elections) or 5 years or 10 years...I am waiting for that good day.

At the end of the Question & Answer session about 20 people came forward to take MLA tickets to nominate from lok satta in different places of Andhra Pradesh. People are coming forward one after the other...

  • First a lady came forward and JP gave her chance to speak. She joined Loksatta just the day before this meeting and she really a common lady who understands the problems of the people. She really inspired with her natural speech not like other politicians scripted speech. She nominated on that day itself with nominal price of 25 rupees from Lok satta.
  • A young boy came forward and he directly told that he is ready to nominate at any place in Nellure district.
  • One more young boy directly told from the people that I am ready to nominate from any place in Andhra Pradesh.
  • Its continued like this for hour. Total 20 members ready to be nominated through lok satta.... People inspired and encouraged with very big applause.

This is a really very good thing I saw and experienced. I bet that you can not see this type of scene in any Movies or Serials. A real incident.. But no television is Andhra Pradesh is ready to show you this scene. (Soon I will write one more article on this, why media will not cover Lok satta ) You might have seen a small bit of JP's speech at the end of the news reel.

Professionals meet program conducted by Loksatta

I meet Jayaprakash Narayan(JP), as part of the professionals meet program conducted by Loksatta in KPHB on March 29th 2009. I strongly believe JP/Lok satta can bring/initiate change in India and redefine how politics are conducted
I want to write down some thoughts shared by JP at this meeting:
  • JP started his conversation with the point saying that, "Out of 100, 80 persons who are sitting here are first time attended a political party meet, because you want change..." he is correct because people responded with very big applause.
  • Nothing happens with JP alone; people should come forward and work for better politics to give a prosperous country to our kids and future generations. JP is also a normal person as you; I am just giving word for your thoughts.
  • Politicians who spend crores, distribute money / liquor and make politics as business are more dangerous than terrorists

JP pointed out the challenges Loksatta is facing in current political landscape:
Money: Loksatta won't accept black money, LS funds are all voluntary and raised through fund raising. I too donated small amount of money, this is first time I donated to a political party and I really surprised that on the receipt it is specified that after 15 days, we can contact and get details about the money, they will tell us where and when the money was spent. Human Resources: Getting people on board, very few volunteers across the state Time: Even if we raised money and built volunteers. We have limited time in our hand Perceptions: Changing perceptions of people. People agree loksatta is a very good party but thinks its waste to vote for loksatta as we are not in a position to win. We need to create belief in people that lok satta is the right alternative and vote for it with confidence

I am in the meeting from first minute to the end until JP leaved the conference hall. I even observed that people who attended the meeting really inspired by JP and no one leaved in between the session. Would request you guys to see Lok Satta agenda and cast your vote/spread the word, if you are convinced about them.

JP challenges AP leaders for an open debate on TV

Lok Satta Party chief Jayaprakash Narayan challenged Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy, Opposition leader N Chandrababu Naidu and PRP supremo Chiranjeevi to join him in a series of open live debates over television channels on their agenda for the public.

Pointing out that no other state has as many TV channels as in Andhra Pradesh, he said the open debates would show who among them have an agenda for the people and the integrity, competence and determination to live up to people & aposs expectations.
